Persepsi Siswa Terhadap Penggunaan Aplikasi ELSA Speak

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan informasi telah menjadikan aktivitas dan pekerjaan manusia menjadi lebih mudah. Tidak hanya untuk membantu pekerjaan manusia, telah banyak juga teknologi yang digunakan untuk kegiatan belajar, termasuk belajar melafalkan kosakata bahasa inggris. Dalam melatih melafalkan kosakata bahasa inggris, salah satu media yang dapat digunakan adalah English Language Speech Assistant (ELSA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran pelafalan kosakata bahasa Inggris melalui ELSA speak. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa di salah satu sekolah menengah pertama di Karawang. Peneliti menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi yang sangat baik terhadap ELSA Speak. Siswa antusias dalam mempelajari pengucapan kosakata bahasa Inggris menggunakan aplikasi ELSA speak. Perangkat ini telah memberikan cara mengucapkan secara baik dengan kualitas mendekati seperti seorang penutur sejati bahasa Inggris. Di samping itu, umpan balik yang diberikan media ini menjadikan siswa lebih termotivasi untuk melafalkan kosakata bahasa inggris.kesimpun dari penelitian ini adalah siswa telah memberikan respon yang positif terhadap penggunaan media ELSA Speak.
