Analisis Pelaksanaan Supervisi Akademik Sekolah, Faktor Pendukung Dan Penghambatnya

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang berfokus pada analisis pelaksanaan supervisi akademik Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Islam Serba Bakti Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya Tasilmalaya dan mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat nya. Pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kepala dan wakil kepala bidang kurikulum menjadi partisipannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaaan supervisi akademik SMP Islam Serba Bakti Pondok Pesantren Suryalaya Tasikmalaya secara teoritis telah sesuai dengan ciri-ciri supervisi yang bersifat ilmiah sistematis, obyektif, dan menggunakan instrument yang sesuai dengan regulasi dengan hasil memuaskan dengan bukti bernilai akreditasi A. Faktor pendukungnya adalah guru, kepala sekolah, dan pengawas. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu beban kerja kepala terlalu banyak, kendala psikologis kepala sekolah untuk melakukan supervisi akademik, belum optimalnya peran wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, masih terdapat guru hanya sekedar mentransfer ilmu, sebagian guru belum menguasai tehnik, metode, pendekatan, dan strategi serta pemanfaatan media dalam proses pembelajaran dan penilaian, sebagian guru melakukan pembelajaran konvensional, monoton, tidak inovatif, dan belum semua guru menguasai penggunaan teknologi untuk pembelajaran. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar penelitian selanjutnya yang meneliti dari ranah yang berbeda dan menjadi motivasi bagi steakholder untuk meningkatkan satuan pendidikannya khususnya dalam masalah akademik
