Penerapan Metode Eksperımen Dalam Menıngkatkan Hasıl Belajar Sıswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation and learning outcomes using the experimental method. The subject of this research is class IV-C with 28 students. This classroom action research refers to the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart using two cycles. The results of the cycle I tests revealed that of the 28 students who took the test, 19 students completed the test and 9 students had not completed the test with a completeness percentage of 67%. The test results in cycle II revealed that of the 28 students who took the test, 24 students passed and 4 students did not complete with a completeness percentage of 85%. Based on the results of the actions in cycle II, it shows that classical student learning outcomes have reached the specified mastery indicators. The conclusion from this study is that the application of the experimental method can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan dan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas IV-C dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan menggunakan dua siklus. Hasil tes siklus I diketahui bahwa dari 28 siswa yang mengikuti tes, yang tuntas sebanyak 19 siswa dan yang belum tuntas sebanyak 9 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 67%.  Hasil tes pada siklus II diketahui bahwa dari 28 siswa yang mengikuti tes, sebanyak 24 siswa yang tuntas dan 4 siswa yang belum tuntas dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 85%. Berdasarkan hasil tindakan pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal telah mencapai indikator ketuntasan yang ditentukan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penerapan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.
