Author Responsibilities

  • Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original, and any sources, ideas, or text from others are properly attributed and cited.
  • Plagiarism or any form of academic misconduct is strictly prohibited.
  • Authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of their work.
  • Submitted manuscripts should not be under consideration or previously published elsewhere.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining proper permissions for copyrighted material used in their submissions.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Reviewers should conduct the peer-review process objectively, providing constructive and unbiased feedback.
  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and decline to review if they cannot provide an impartial assessment.
  • Confidentiality is crucial; reviewers should not share or discuss the content of manuscripts with others.

Editor Responsibilities

  • Editors make publication decisions based on the quality and validity of the work, regardless of authors' affiliation or other factors.
  • Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process and handle submissions confidentially.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed and managed appropriately.

Plagiarism and Misconduct

Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and other forms of misconduct are unacceptable and will result in the rejection of submissions or retraction of published articles.

Correction and Retraction

If errors are discovered or issues arise after publication, INFOTECH Journal will work with authors to issue corrections or retractions as necessary to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

If you have concerns about publication ethics or wish to report any misconduct, please contact the editorial team at infotech@unma.ac.id. We take all reports seriously and will investigate and take appropriate actions.
