Plagiarism Policy

Before sending a manuscript, make sure that the similarity of your paper is checked first.

The maximum similarity rate is = 35% or  less than 35%
We suggest you use Reference Manager (Turnitin) for preparing your paper (exclude quotes and bibliography).

Plagiarism screening will be conducted by the editors of PRESUMPTION OF LAW twice. First, before the review and secondly, after the review prior to publication using TURNITIN Similarity Check. Article manuscripts must obtain a similarity index of less than 35%. We will return the manuscripts to authors should the similarity index is more than 35%. Authors may rewrite the manuscripts to meet our requirements in this regard and resubmit the rewritten manuscripts. The resubmitted manuscripts will go into the new screening process, and if for any reason the similarity index is still above 35%, the editors will reject the manuscripts.

  • Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not allowed;
  • The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted;
  • An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable;
  • Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.
