Abstrak
This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics learning in class I at SDN Karamat. The aim of this research is to improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade I elementary school students by using a project based learning model. This research is classroom action research with two cycles, each cycle carrying out two action sessions consisting of four activity stages, namely the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage and reflection stage. The subjects of this research were 30 class I students at Karamat State Elementary School, Palasah District, Majalengka Regency. Data collection techniques use observation, learning results tests and documentation. The research instrument used was a learning activity observation sheet. The research results showed that student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, student learning outcomes were 66.66% and in cycle II it was 83.33. This can be seen from the class average in cycle I, namely 13.49, and the average class score in cycle II reached 16.71, so the increase The class average from cycle I to cycle II is 3.22. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the project based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class I mathematics learning at Karamat State Elementary School.
