PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INQUIRI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP GERAK SENAM JUMSIHAT
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas mengajar guru dan aktivitas belajar siswa serta meningkatkan hasil pemahaman konsep gerak senam Jumsihat dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peneliti berkolaborasi dengan guru serta siswa kelas V SDN Banjaransari I dengan sampel sejumlah 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan tes. Instrument penelitian berupa lembar observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas mengajar guru dan aktivitas belajar siswa, sedangkan lembar tes digunakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep gerak jumsihat. Hasil analisis data menunjukan aktivitas guru siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata 19 (cukup), siklus II menjadi 24 (baik). Selanjutnya data hasil belajar siswa siklus I dianalisis berdasarkan kriteria ketuntasan belajar klasikal dan diperoleh persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal yaitu 80,56% yang termasuk kedalam kriteria belum tuntas dan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal yaitu 90,67% dan termasuk dalam kriteria tuntas. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan gerak senam Jumsihat. Implikasi dan rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini untuk guru yaitu harus mempersiapkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan, kondisi siswa dan sarana prasarana yang ada, juga harus bisa menyesuaikan dengan kondisi pandemi yang masih ada saat ini, dengan model inquiry ini guru memudahkan dan memberikan kelancaran dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.
