Indonesian Journal of Sport Management is an aspiration of the Lecturers in the Departement of Physical Education, Universitas Majalengka. In an effort to provide a forum for the publication of scientific works, especially the teachers, lecture, and academition on sport field. Our, as the manager intends to publish a scientific journal called Indonesian Journal of Sport Management.
Indonesian Journal of Sport Management is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly research on sport studies. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of sport. The journal is published biannually, in April and September by the Department Physical Education, the Univesitas Majalengka. Indonesian Journal of Sport Management published its first edition: Vol. 1, No. 1, 2021, in April and September.
The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of sport. Indonesian Journal of Sport Management particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the sciences of sport areas as follows: Organizational theory, organizational behavior and organizational strategy in sport; Sports marketing, sponsorship, advertising and licensing; Sports tourism, management and governance of sports bodies in the public; Voluntary and commercial sectors in sport; Management of professional sports club; Sports management colleges and schools; Sports technology monitoring, audit and evaluation; International sports technology management; Sporting organisation management; Sports marketing; Sports financial management, economics; Sports facilities planning, evaluation, management; Sports event management; Entrepreneurs in the sporting sector.
