Pestisida kimia merupakan bahan yang paling banyak digunakan oleh petani di Indonesia untuk pengendalian pangan segar asal tanaman dari serangan hama. Sebagian besar petani di Indonesia menggunakan pestisida karena dianggap efektif, mudah digunakan dan menguntungkan secara ekonomi. Pestisida bermanfaat meningkatkan hasil pertanian, tetapi pestisida merupakan bahan kimia yang bersifat bioaktif dan merupakan bahan racun. Penyuluhan bahaya dan risiko residu pestisida pada pangan segar asal tanaman kepada mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Darul Fattah Bandar Lampung. Kesimpulan penyuluhan ini efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang bahaya dan risiko residu pestisida pangan segar asal tanaman.
