TRANSIVITAS DAN KONTEKS SITUASI PIDATO: KAJIAN LINGUISTIK SISTEMIK FUNGSIONAL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini terfokus untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan tipe proses transitivitas dan konteks pidato dari pemerintahan Singapura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan dibantu dengan data kuantitatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini berupa teks Pidato pemerintahan Singapura yang dibawaka oleh tuan Masagos Zulkifli. Sumber data yang digunakan  berupa data lisan dalam bentuk audiovisual. Populasi berupa teks pidato yang dibawakan tuan Masagos Zulkifli. Sampel  penelitian berupa tipe proses, partisipan, dan sirkumstan yang ditemukan dalam data. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode simak, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan teknin catat. Adapun temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tipe proses yang ditemukan dalam analisis Pidato yang dibawakan oleh tuan Masagos Zulkifli terdiri dari 5 proses yakni proses Material, proses Mental, proses Relasional, Proses Verbal, dan Proses Eksistensial. Adapun proses yang mendominasi adalah proses material yang mempresentasikan kehidupan  yang berorientasi pada perbuatan, kegiatan, dan aksi nyata. (2) Sirkumstan yang ditemukan yakni lokasi, cara, sebab, penyerta, dan rentang. Presentase kemunculan ada yang mendominasi dan ada yang hanya muncul sekali. Pada sirkumstan yang presentase kemunculannya paling banyak muncul adalah sirkumstan sebab yang menunjukkan mekanisme perencanaan kerja yang disampaikan pada pidato tersebut. (3) berdasarkan analisis konteks situasi dihubungkan dengan analisis sistem transitivitas  dapat diketahuii tujuan dari penyampaian pidato kesehatan pemerintahan Singapura yang dibawakan oleh tuan Masagos Zulkifli melalui proses partisipan, dan sirkumstannya. Dapat dilihat gambarannya dari apa yang disampaikan oleh tuan Masagos Zulkifli inginkan yakni lebih kepada penyampaian maksud untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan kaum perempuan dan meningkatkan kesehatan.

This research focuses on describing the relationship between transitivity process types and the speech context of the Singaporean government. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach and assisted by quantitative data. The object of this research is the text of a Singapore government speech delivered by Mr. Masagos Zulkifli. The data source used is oral data in audiovisual form. The population is in the form of the text of a speech delivered by Mr. Masagos Zulkifli. The research sample consists of the type of process, participants, and circumstantial found in the data. The method used is the listening method, then continued with note-taking technique. The research findings show that (1) the type of process found in the analysis of the speech delivered by Mr. Masagos Zulkifli consists of 5 processes, namely Material process, Mental process, Relational process, Verbal Process and Existential Process. The processes that dominate are material processes that represent life oriented towards actions, activities and real actions. (2) Circumstances found, namely location, method, cause, accompanying, and range. Some of the percentages of appearances dominate and some only appear once. In circumstantial, the highest percentage of occurrences is circumstantial. The method that shows the work planning mechanism presented in the speech. (3) based on the analysis of the situational context connected with the transitivity system analysis, it can be identified the purpose of delivering the Singapore government's health speech delivered by Mr. Masagos Zulkifli through a participant process, and its circumstantial. You can see the picture of what Mr. Masagos Zulkifli wanted, namely to convey the intention to realize the welfare of women and improve health.
