Abstract

Indonesia berada di posisi kelima dengan jumlah pengidap diabetes sebanyak 19,47 juta. Prevalensi diabetes Mellitus di Jawa Barat menempati peringkat 21 dari 36 provinsi. Pada tahun 2020 di Kabupaten Bekasi penderita Diabetes Mellitus yang mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan sesuai standar berjumlah 22.573 dengan persentase 9.32% dari 242.169 penderita. DM merupakan suatu kelompok penyakit metabolik dengan kelainan sekresi insulin, kerja insulin, atau keduanya yang menyebabkan glukosa tidak dapat masuk ke dalam sel sehingga terjadi penumpukan glukosa di dalam darah yang disebut hiperglikemia. Kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan pendampingan terkait Duta Masyarakat Dalam Pelaksanaan Lima Pilar Management Diabetes Mellitus Di Puskesmas Mekar Mukti melalui pendekatan dengan Kader Kesehatan / Posyandu yang ada di Puskesmas Mekar Mukti Kecamatan Cikarang Utara Kabupaten Bekasi (33 orang), waktu Juni-Agustus 2023. Saran: Kader untuk terus memotivasi keluarga dengan DM dalam melaksanakan 5 pilar menajamen pengobatan DM agar penderita DM tidak mengalami komplikasi yang lebih berat.
