This research was conducted to determine the improvement of children 's fine motor skills which were applied in using newspaper folding activities. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were the children of Group B and the Sangga Winaya Babakan Kindergarten teacher. This research is collaborative, including researchers and classroom teachers. The data collection method used is the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's fine motor skills through folding with newsprint. This can be seen from the average percentage of children's fine motor skills in 1 class before the action 26.3%, the first cycle 31.9%, the second cycle 50%, the third cycle 80%. The conclusion of this study is that folding newsprint activities can improve the fine motor skills of Group B children at Sangga Winaya Babakan Kindergarten in the 2019/2020 school year.
