Penerapan Media Flashcard Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Di Kelas I Sekolah Dasar
Abstrak
This research was motivated by the low initial reading ability of students using flash cards as learning media for students in the class I at SDN Cicadas 1, Jatiwangi District, Majalengka Regency. This research aims to determine the improvement of initial reading skills through flashcards learning media in Class I in SDN Cicadas 1, Jatiwangi District, Majalengka Regency. The subjects in this research were class I students at SDN Cicadas 1 Elementary School, Jatiwangi District, Majalengka Regency, totaling 17 students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative description. The research results show that flashcard learning media can improve initial reading skills in grade I elementary school. The increase in initial reading ability scores is influenced by student and teacher activities in the classroom learning process. Flashcards learning media have a positive impact on students' enthusiasm for learning to read because they formulate a very fun learning technique so that students do not feel bored when studying the material.
