Author Guidelines
GENERAL GUIDELINES
- The accepted manuscript in JIKA (Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi Andalan) should be original, not a result of plagiarism, and has novelty. It is the result of research and/or community service, related to the field of communication studies, and has never been published or is being accepted for publication in journals or other publications.
- Manuscript is written in Bahasa Indonesia or English, it is typed in Times New Roman font size 12, spaced 1.5 and Justify. A4 format paper size (8.27 " 11.29") consisting of 6000-7000 and format in words .doc.
- Manuscripts entered into the editorial will go through a double-blind review process by a free partner and a decision "accepted" is determined by the Editor. Manuscript that is published will be edited again by the editor without changing the substance.
- Authors are to check manuscripts for accuracy of language before submitting to the journal. The Editorial Board will not edit submitted manuscripts for style or language (Please refer to template)
- Authors are expected to carefully proofread their work before submission
- Posts sent via online submission at https://jurnal.unma.ac.id/index.php/jika/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions
- The manuscripts only consist of INTRODUCTION, RESEARCH METHODS, RESULTS AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, REFERENCE.
- Sub-chapter that not included in point 16 above is not allowed. Sub-Chapter should be written with 1.5 spacing, Capital, 12 point Times New Roman, bold, left margin.

- Comprised at least 15 reference sources
- References with maximum 10 years
- References consist of 60% journal and 40% non-journal
