FENOMENA KAWIN CERAI DALAM PERSPEKTIF HERMENEUTIKA SOSIAL WILHEM DILTHEY

Abstract

Fenomena kawin cerai di Desa Pranggong, Kecamatan Arahan, Kabupaten Indramayu merupakan salah satu isu sosial yang mencerminkan kompleksitas kehidupan manusia dalam konteks budaya, ekonomi, dan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena tersebut melalui perspektif hermeneutika sosial Wilhelm Dilthey. Hermeneutika Dilthey berfokus pada tiga hal yakni pengalaman hidup (erlebnis), ungkapan (ausdruck), dan pemahaman (verstehen). Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi makna mendalam yang terkandung dalam tindakan kawin cerai melalui interpretasi ungkapan ide, perilaku, dan ekspresi emosional pasangan yang mengalami perceraian. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan kajian literatur mengenai fenomena kawin cerai tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kawin cerai tidak hanya dipicu oleh faktor ekonomi, seperti kemiskinan dan pengangguran, tetapi juga oleh perubahan nilai budaya, seperti pergeseran norma patriarki dan meningkatnya kesadaran akan kesetaraan gender. Melalui lingkaran hermeneutika, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa perceraian tidak dapat dipahami secara terpisah dari konteks sejarah dan budaya masyarakat, tetapi merupakan refleksi dari transformasi nilai sosial yang lebih luas. Dengan pendekatan ini, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman multidimensional tentang fenomena kawin cerai dan relevansinya terhadap dinamika sosial di era modern.

The phenomenon of divorced marriage in Pranggong Village, Arahan Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency is one of the social issues that reflects the complexity of human life in a cultural, economic and psychological context. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon through the perspective of Wilhelm Dilthey's social hermeneutics. Dilthey's hermeneutics focuses on three things: life experience (erlebnis), expression (ausdruck), and understanding (verstehen). Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study explores the deep meaning contained in the act of divorce through the interpretation of the expression of ideas, behaviors, and emotional expressions of couples who experience divorce. Data were obtained through interviews and literature review on the phenomenon of divorce marriage. The results show that divorce is not only triggered by economic factors, such as poverty and unemployment, but also by changes in cultural values, such as shifting patriarchal norms and increasing awareness of gender equality. Through hermeneutic circles, this study found that divorce cannot be understood in isolation from the historical and cultural context of society, but is a reflection of broader social value transformations. With this approach, this research contributes to a multidimensional understanding of the phenomenon of divorce and its relevance to social dynamics in the modern era.
