Pengaruh Ketebalan Kerabang, Bobot Kerabang, Dan Bobot Telur Terhadap Specific Gravity (SG) Telur Ayam Ras

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui korelasi serta mendapatkan nilai besar pengaruh antara ketebalan kerabang (X1), bobot kerabang (X2), dan bobot telur (X3) terhadap specific gravity (SG) (Y) telur ayam ras. SG telur berkorelasi positif signifikan dengan ketebalan kerabang dan bobot kerabang. Meningkatnya bobot telur diikuti dengan menurunnya nilai SG telur. Penelitian ini menggunakan 300 sampel telur segar dengan metode korelasional yaitu uji path analysis. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi diperoleh rX1Y = 0,526, rX2Y = 0,296, dan rX3Y = -0,236. Hasil perhitungan koefisien jalur diperoleh rYX1 = 0,128, rYX2 = 0,861, dan rYX3 = -0,864. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa korelasi tebal kerabang dengan SG tergolong kuat, bobot kerabang dengan SG tergolong medium, serta bobot telur dengan SG tergolong sangat lemah. Besar pengaruh ketebalan kerabang terhadap SG 7,56%, besar pengaruh bobot kerabang terhadap SG 25,55%, serta besar pengaruh bobot telur terhadap SG 20,42%.
