PENGGUNAAN MODEL ART DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PESERTA DIDIK SLB

Abstract

This study aims to improve writing skills according to the right and correct proportion of SLB students using the ART model. The research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), with PTK Model Kemmis and McTaggart channel design, which consists of two cycles, each consisting of four stages, namely planning, action, observing, and reflecting. The subjects consisted of five students of Jakarta 07 State Junior High School Class VII-C Lightweight Developmental Education. Sources of data in the form of primary and secondary data, data collection tools in the form of tests and observations. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, the results of the study showed that the use of the ART model can improve writing skills according to the correct and correct proportions evidenced by an increase in writing skills in each cycle. In conclusion, ART learning models can be used to improve writing skills. The teacher is recommended that the ART model be used also for other subjects.
